Detectives Bockhorn, Brenner and Rachid have been on the payroll of drug dealer Theo Landwehr for years. When Landwehr is arrested and incriminated by an unknown witness, he demands that the police officers disarm the witness. Cohesion in the squad begins to crumble. Faced with the choice of allowing a murder to take place or being exposed, they decide to commit murder.
