Die Bürgermeisterin

Claudia Voss (Anna Schudt), honorary local mayor and very popular in her small town, is presented with a fait accompli: the district has decided to build a community center for refugees in Neustadt-Linden. The plan quickly meets with resistance in the town, led by local businessman Veith Landauer (Alexander Beyer). Claudia unexpectedly finds herself targeted by the right-wing scene and confronted with attempts to intimidate her. The more she tries to mediate, the more intense the hostility becomes. Claudia and her family face a crucial test: Is her commitment worth putting her husband Peter (Felix Klare), her daughter Leonie (Jule Hermann) and herself in danger?
