13 new episodes of the popular series about female friendships and everyday working life against the backdrop of the posh hotel Grand Hansson.

While Marie (Mariele Millowitsch) and Ronaldo (Walter Sittler) build a new life in South Africa, Iris Sandberg (Franziska Stavjanik) and Christian Dolbien (Philipp Brenninkmeyer) take over the management of the Grand Hansson Hotel. Christian and Barbara’s (Susanne Hoss) love grows – she moves into his apartment. Even though Christian spends a lot of time with Iris in the office, Barbara has complete trust in him. And also with Iris, who becomes Barbara’s best friend. But in the hotel, the rumor mill begins to bubble….

The sixth season of “Girlfriends” (1x 90′, 11 x 45 min.) is a production of Network Movie, Hamburg. Producer is Carsten Kelber, the responsible ZDF editors are Claus Beling and Andrea Klingenschmitt.
