The Inspector and the Sea – On a Dark Sea

Robert (Walter Sittler) has to solve the murder of a woman on the Gotland ferry. On the crossing from Visby to Nynäshamn, a female passenger is found murdered on board the Gotland ferry.

When his son Kasper (Sven Gielnik) suddenly disappears during the investigation on the ferry, a race against time begins. Did Kasper witness the murder and become a victim himself?

The clock is ticking as the ship plows inexorably through the icy cold Baltic Sea toward the mainland.
Robert, who is on a private trip to Stockholm with his son Kasper, immediately has his colleagues Thomas (Andy Gätjen) and Ewa (Inger Nilsson) flown in by helicopter, because it is clear to him that the murderer must still be on the ferry. The victim was part of a wedding party whose festive facade is beginning to crumble. Robert must not only solve the case, but above all find his son before the ferry reaches Stockholm.
