In the middle of the night, Jenny Berlin picks up an eight-year-old boy who seems to be silently guarding a dark secret: neither does he want to say what his name is, nor where he lives. When his mother is found murdered shortly thereafter and the boy flees, Jenny and her colleagues harbor a terrible suspicion: Is the boy perhaps to blame for his mother’s death, or does he know the murderer?
