No Way Too Far (Thursday, October 24, 2019, 8:15 p.m.).
A patchwork family presents the Alpine School team with some challenges: Cathrin and Frank have recently become a couple, and everything seems to be going right. On vacation at the Alpine School, they hope to also win over their two children Linus and Emma for the new family adventure.
Martina quickly senses that the kids are not ready for this. Especially 15-year-old Emma is listless. Martina, Uli and Rupert start thinking about what they can offer the family as special events. During a via ferrata tour, Emma provokes a dangerous situation. Frank is furious – the vacation threatens to fall through. Nevertheless, Martina manages to convince the four of them to go canyoning. In his enthusiasm, Frank blurts out a plan to move in with Cathrin. Emma and Linus are shocked: The two take off and get lost in a cave.
Meanwhile, Rupert is plagued by severe pain in his hand. An examination confirms his fears: He needs surgery if he ever wants to be able to climb again. But if he fails, the alpine school may close.
Second Freedom (Thursday, October 31, 2019, 8:15 p.m.)
Martina and Uli are testing new outdoor events for the customers of their alpine school. But they urgently need support because Rupert is not yet fit for action after his hand operation. That’s when Martina meets the withdrawn Gregor, who lives in a camper. She spontaneously offers him a job at the alpine school. The brothers Uli and Rupert, however, are skeptical. In fact, Gregor has a dark past – he spent some time in prison.
Martina, however, has no fear of contact. On the contrary – she is fascinated by Gregor’s quiet manner and his mysterious nature. What’s more, he can cook. This helps the team, because they are expecting three teenage girls who have booked a few days’ vacation at the Alpine school: Anne, Nele and Selina are close friends. But Nele and Selina have a fight about a boy and Anne is carrying a secret. Rupert enjoys the fact that the girls are interested in him. In truth, however, he is jealous of Gregor, with whom Martina seems to have fallen in love.
