Jenny Berlin – End of Fear

The series about the attractive Hamburg detective of the same name (Aglaia Szyszkowitz) and her two colleagues Hans Wolfer (Hannes Hellmann) and Volker Brehm (Rainer Strecker) was first broadcast on ZDF in the fall of 2000 under the title “Jenny Berlin. Since then, the three commissioners have been a well-rehearsed team and have been investigating on Saturday evenings under the series title “Einsatz in Hamburg” since 2002. The films “Jenny Berlin – Tod am Meer” and “Jenny Berlin – Stunde der Wahrheit” were produced by Objectiv Film GmbH.

Jenny experiences the agonies of a hostage situation: several times she falls into the hands of the same man, who first uses her to escape from prison. The second time, however, Jenny has to fight for her life – an experience that gets deep under the skin of the rookie. Nevertheless, the policewoman is not dissuaded from trying to clarify the motives of the man, who is convinced of his innocence.
