Lawyer Johannes Trautwein (Markus Heinicke) disappears without a trace on his way to his golf club. Has he been killed? Allegedly, he had evidence that exonerated his client, Robert Lorenz (Thomas Loibl). Robert Lorenz is in custody. He is accused of brutally raping his nanny. Helen Dorn (Anna Loos) begins to investigate and experiences a surprise when questioning Lorenz’s wife: Britta Lorenz (Ina Weisse) is a former classmate of Helen. She paints an exceedingly bleak picture of her husband, from whose violence she has suffered for years. Helen Dorn’s investigations lead her to a call girl whom Trautwein had met a few hours before his death. The young woman is none other than Eva Czerny (Barbara Prakopenka), the nanny and rape victim from the Lorenz household. Eva Czerny seems traumatized and claims that Trautwein tried to force her to recant her testimony. In fact, Robert is surprisingly set free at the upcoming detention hearing.

That same evening, Britta shows up at Helen’s severely beaten. Robert has become violent again, she is scared to death. And for good reason: evidence is mounting that Eva was hired by Britta to seduce her husband and then turn him in for rape. What if he finds out that his own wife wanted to put him in jail? When Robert is found beaten to death, everything points to Britta having killed him in self-defense. She, however, claims her innocence…
