Until the age of 36, geophysicist Marie Faber (Ina Weisse) has only pursued her scientific career at university and is about to complete her habilitation. She seems to have everything under control – until one day 20-year-old Tom (Tobias Schenke) bursts into her life. Again and again he seeks contact with her, until she finally gets involved….
