Katie Fforde: By Your Side

Successful New York lawyer Alicia Charles (Ursula Karven) is hired by penniless globetrotter and occasional musician Will Hillinger (Marek Erhardt). As a supposed godfather, he wants to use her help to win custody of the orphaned nine-year-old Linus (Nick Julius Schuck). Alicia, who has only recently been released from the hospital after an accident and has no memory of the event, initially rejects the case. But Will confronts her with a terrible truth: her own life is tragically tied to the boy’s fate. Against the advice of her fiancé and law firm partner Richard (David C. Bunners), Alicia now wants to win the case at any cost. But might Will Hillinger just be after the boy’s inheritance?
