LAIM 5 – LAIM AND THE RABBIT HEART
Screenplay by Catharina Steiner and Scott Perlman

No sooner has Lukas LAIM buried his mother than he has to fulfil her obligations. So he reluctantly finds himself at an election campaign event to present Minister KRONBERGER with a fat donation cheque on behalf of the deceased. Fortunately, Laim is not the only one bored at the event and so he meets ANNA. But before the flirtation can be deepened, Laim is called to duty.
Of all things, Kronberger’s 19-year-old daughter, Karoline, is missing. And Laim and SIMHANDL, of all people, are supposed to be looking for her. Laim is about to refuse, after all he is a member of the homicide squad, when a dead girl matching Karoline’s description is found.
Laim looks for a connection between the two cases, while Kronberger himself goes in search of his daughter. When Laim finds out what happened and who is behind the murder and the abductions, it is almost too late to save Karoline.
