Detective Inspector Theo Clüver (Robert Atzorn) is a likeable, edgy guy who gets to the bottom of the murderers on his North Frisian island with a lot of patience, level-headedness and psychological intuition. His inner peace may come from his harmonious marriage, even if he could actually do without the tantric delicacies his wife Anna (Ulrike Grote) has been preparing lately. Clüver does not investigate alone. Working at his side is the rugged blonde Ina Behrens (Julia Brendler) – a self-confident Frisian who, apart from her oddball grandfather in need of care, is fed up with men. With her sober and consistently unemotional manner, the young detective is very much in keeping with Clüver’s nature. However, the new detective assistant Hinnerk Feldmann (Oliver Wnuk) takes some getting used to for the well-rehearsed team of investigators: a pedantic colleague from the Baltic Sea who calls himself a “profiler”. Together, the investigators take a lively approach to the case, and get caught up in an equally blackly humorous and exciting romp about skeletal corpses, 60s mood bands and erotic tantra lessons.
