Patrolmen Sabine Lieber (Anke Retzlaff) and Uwe Berger (Matthias Komm) are on duty during a traffic check. Pure routine, they think. But things turn out quite differently: a man with a defective taillight on his car, Klaus Ewert (André M. Hennicke), goes completely berserk. Ewert brutally shoots Berger and flees with Sabine in the patrol car. Inspector Nina Petersen (Katharina Wackernagel) has just recovered from her gunshot wound. Actually, she should go to psychological counseling. But there is no time for that: the stolen police car with Berger’s body in the trunk has been found on the town hall square, and a sniper is shooting at police officers from the town hall roof. The man on the roof is the perpetrator from the traffic stop. Ewert has nothing left to lose and still some scores to settle.
