Icy temperatures and snowfall on Gotland: A millionaire throws a hot pool party for a clique of teenagers – and is found dead the next morning
After a party, teenager Peer Sunberg wakes up covered in blood at the villa of software developer Tage Löfgren, whom he finds dead in the pool. Peer’s memory of the evening is gone – did he kill Tage? The man was a kind of surrogate father and guru for his clique.
In a panic, Peer leaves the villa. His friends can’t help him; they all went home before Peer. He was alone with Tage. His memory fragments indicate a quarrel between him and Tage. He becomes convinced that he killed Tage.
Robert Anders, despite the circumstantial evidence, does not believe that the boy killed the smart and popular man. For the facade of the millionaire, who was welcome everywhere, is crumbling – he didn’t let anything go to waste and also liked to give his opinion relentlessly. So his sister Hilda and her husband Carl also have a clear motive. After all, Tage not only ruined their wedding, the two also owed him money – and are his only heirs. But every family in the millionaire’s neighborhood has a secret, but not everyone knows how to deal with it.
